Re: 30 Day Shred

Postby FrenchToast » Sat Apr 14, 2022 12:17 am

Wahoo can't believe I've found this!
I'm just going to buy the Dvd this evening.
I was a great gym goer up until about 6 months ago when i had major tummy problems. Wasn't able to go for ages and then got out of the habit and lost motivation. So want to do this to get be back into the swing of things.
Really excited now. Oh gotta measure tonight now too!

Girls just wanted to ask what kinda exercise this entails? I was gonna buy the dvd but live in an apartment and don't want to be jumping around making a load of noise for the people living beneath me! Is it lots of kind of floor work where you wouldn't be jumping around too much or lots of cardio?

Thanks for any info! :thnk

Well done. I've been bad for doing it every night, only really managing every 2nd night, and didn't do anything over the weekend. Went for an hour and half walk this morning though, so will give it a skip today too. Finding level2 great. V tough going. but find the abs part of circuit 3 brill, what a killer.

Day 1 done!
Did level 1, wasn't too bad. Loved the intensity of it. Gonna stay on level 1 for a few days amd see. I want to do 2 of them back to back though. Anyone try that?
Felt a bit short, from what I'd be used to.
Had a nice healthy chicken stirfry after and a yogurt as a treat yum!
How's everyone else getting on?

Ok after reading through this thread, thought I may as well give it a go - downloaded the DVD's this morning so will start tonight I think!

Couple of questions - what sort of weights is everyone using and can you do it every couple of days...don't want to give up my couch 2 5k and can't see me doing both in one day?! Thanks!

Day 6 done. I am seeing results already and I'm very happy!! @ stupid name 2013 I use 1.13kg and there grand but I will move up as I go along. I have the davina set of dumbells. My 4 year old uses the smallest ones so they are useless. I am using the middle size and then I can progress to the heaviest ones later on. Good luck

Thanks Runter - just looked up Argos there and they have the Davina ones for €20. Am checking with OH what he has though first - there's an endless amount of weights in our spare room, just making sure they're not too heavy :) Yeah I think I'll do alternate days - I'm not in a massive hurry, it's still nearly a year away!

Day 2 done and I could barely get out of bed this morning :weep
Need a long hot bath after it tonight. I'm thinking no pain no gain!
Need to get over this soreness before I move to level 2, me thinks.

I'm using 5lb weights for now. I used to use heavier so once I'm back into it I'll move up.
Might be another few days though he he!
Good luck with it. I'm only 2 days in so have a way to go yet.
