Why why why would you do this diet. .... Is it just to lose weight for your wedding day? This is a temporary yo-yo quick fix ! Ok so you lose weight for a week and then you go back to normal eating and put it back on.

But it's worse than that for your body. By losing/gaining weight fast you lose muscle tone. Muscle cells have a higher basic metabolism than fat so your basic number of calories you burn on a daily basis just to let your cells respire is reduced. Further you ultimately slow down your metabolism as theres a link with yo/yo dieting and slowing down of the metabolism (you body just learns to run more efficiently on less food so you use up less calories to just function as a body). So there's two ways that overall your metabolism is reduced and you are burning less calories on a daily basis.

The only way to lose weight properly is to incorporate permanent change by eating sensibly in a way that you can sustain longterm and/or introducing exercise. This approach is up there with Lipo for me !

Have to say I'd agree. the only way to lose weight and keep it off is to re-educate your eating habits and move more. It's hard but it's true.

BINGO!

Not quite as bad as Lipotrim, but the quick-fix principle is exactly the same.

Grilled chicken? Fruit? Fresh fish? Salads? It doesn't look half as bad as some of the diets around. Most of these foods would be recommended to you as part of any balanced diet, so why it should be so unhealthy to follow is beyond me. I find that the bulk of the excess calories I consume is through snacking and picking at food throughout the day, so I can see how this diet could work. Not a nutritionist, of course, but I can see the basic principle and the foods involved seem sound enough...

There is absolutely no dairy in this diet. Where are you getting your calcium from? As far as I can see this diet would be extremely bad for you!

When I said 'Lipo' I'm talking about Liposuction i.e. This approach is about as healthy and longterm as Liposuction !!!!!!!!!!!

Graceface I'm not saying the diet has unhealthy foods... just that you won't sustain eating very small amounts of calories longerm (Unless of course you're 'Posh'!)

I hadn't actually read your post about Liposuction. I believe Lipotrim is very unhealhy and not the way to lose weight.

Yeah, you could say that!

If I started a thread about my views on Lipotrim, I'd get flamed by half of the forum!
