Set in idyllic woodland and surrounded by a dry moat outside of which is a plantation of various trees and shrubs, Coolcarrigan has been a place of religious worship for many years.
The church is a perfect venue to host your wedding day. It has a capacity of approximately 65 people, suitable for small and intimate weddings. Coolcarrigan church has been a wedding venue for many happy couples, who thought it the perfect location for their wedding ceremony.
The main house can be viewed from the church across rolling parkland. It can be made available for pre-wedding lunches and small wedding receptions.
The church architecture was inspired directly by one of the churches in Clonmacnoise, the ancient religious settlement on the shores of the Shannon. The church is picturesque inside and out, making it perfect for your wedding photos.
