A dancing DJ!!

Hi, I was at an event in the US recently and they had hired a "dancing DJ" as the entertainment. Basically, he got the whole room dancing, following his movements to Thriller, Boogie shoes etc. - it was so much fun and the floor didn't empty all night!! I was thinking this would be a great idea for my upcoming wedding Oct. Is anyone aware of a DJ offering the same type of service in the north-west area?

I can almost say that this is something you won't find, as most people don't really like that level of interaction...maybe if you approached a drama group with the view of casting a member as a dj that evolved into this, this might be an avenue you could explore but I can safely speak for most by saying the its mainly music and very subtle dj interaction that is highest demand in a general dj service.

I was at a friends wedding on New Years Eve just gone and they had a DJ that did the wigs and blow up guitars with the wedding party, He went into the crowd and danced with them and generally shouted a lot during songs making people do silly things... They seemed to enjoy it but I personally cringed when I saw him coming.
At one stage he put a grey wig on the groom and plastic boobs and a blonde wig on the Bride and they sang along to islands in the stream into blow up microphones...
Not my cup of tea at all but as I said Bridal party loved it. DJ was based in Limerick

Hi both, thanks for your replies. wigs and blow-up toys aren't really what I'm looking for (agghh cringe!!). The guy I seen was a little more subtle than that and kept is attentions to those on the floor willing to participate. Thanks anyway for your suggestions and advice!
