How much was your white gold wedding ring?

Looking at prices of rings at the minute, saw one I really liked 18ct white gold, stones in the band, in my size for €840, is it a good price?

I paid €1400 for mine, 18ct white gold set with diamonds, so I'd say its a good enough price, depends on the size of the diamonds too.

Thanks Bella, stones aren't very big but are just what I wanted, you don't really see them as individual stones and it's lovely with my engagement ring. Think I may be shopping this week! :o)ll

Mine was exactly that in Fields but I got it when there was a 25% discount on diamond bands. I thought it was a good price for what I was getting before the discount anyway.

Sounds a good price highbeam - my engagement ring is platinum so I'm gonna have to go for a 2mm wedding ring with diamonds halfway on band - dreading to think what price range I'm talking about?!!

AwkwardAnnie, I know, have you looked at them yet? one jewelers scared the life outta me telling me I'd be paying about €1300 for a white gold ring because the price of gold has gone up so much I thought that was around what the platinum one was. So I was delighted when I found this ring. Would be great to have another thing ticked off the list.

I got mine for €495 in fields and it's 18 ct white gold with diamonds inlaid. Now this was with the discount for having bought my engagement ring with them and it was also on sale and before the price of gold went up I think because we put the deposits on them last summer just after we booked our venue. But my point is there are definitely bargains to be had if you shop around. Mine just happened to be the one I liked that suited my engagement ring. I'd recommend Fields every time. They're so helpful and have a beautiful selection.

highbeam - Do you mind me asking where all you looked??

We haven't looked anywhere recently. Looked in Fields in Blanchardstown a couple of months ago and there was nothing that suits. The band on my own ring is quite thin, probably 2mm so I want the same for my wedding band. I have to go back and leave my engagement ring in where I bought it anyway as its gotten too big for me :o(

So when I'm there, I'll have a nosey about!

Can anyone recommend somewhere good to go where there is a few jewellers close by? I was thinking Grafton St??

I got my 18 carat white gols ring with tiny diamonds half way around the band for €455 in a local jewellers. Was told that I cold have the ring on the tray for that price but to order one in a different size it would be around €200 more becuase the price of gold/diamonds is going up every day. I took the €455 one and it looks perfect with my enegagement ring

I got my 18ct white gold with about 8 teeny diamonds (it's what I wanted) for €408 this included a 20% discount as they had a sale on at the time.

Mine is 1200 - white gold with 21 diamonds in it and made to fit around my engagement ring which is marquis cut. Can't wait to collect it :o)ll
