Calling all White Wine drinkers!!

Hi all,

H2B and I are avid drinkers of red wine but rarely drink white... looking for ideas for white wines for our wedding... anyone willing to share their favourites / own wedding choices? Would you rate Lindemans' Chardonnay or Wolf Blass Eaglehawk Chardonnay?

eaglehawk good...um lindemans maybe not so much...
why dont you try a nice semillon or a savingnon blanc?
Do any of your bms drink white?
you could have a lot of fun having a white wine tasting night, even if you dont usually drink white...
buy some nibbles buy half a dozen differant bottles (or get everyone to bring their 'favourite' white) and rate each one out of 10...

h2b and myself are having wine tasting session next week. That is the best thing to do.

Personally I don't like chardonnay - it can be far too oaky & heavy, esp with grub. I do like Sauv Blanc, Riesling & Chenin Blanc though...

Try wines from all grape varieties before you make a decision

Can't beat a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc....I'm another non-Chardonnay drinker, it's like a white wine for beginners!

Im a great lover of Chaddy but I have noticed of more recent times that my gang of mates have turned into I'll never drink Chardonnay ever again gang..

Soave, Pinot Grigio, Chablis, SAv Blanc are always good choices...

Am an NZ wine fanatic...we had a gorgeous Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc at ours and also a St Clair Chardonnay which I think worked out at about €12 each.

you could try Rosemount Estate chardonay (austriallan) its my favourite just cant get enough of it.
Jacobs Creek Chardonay
Bloosom Hill either the chardonay or the white

Hey,

I tasted Lindemans the other night,... didn't like it at all..
Tried Rosario Chile wine last night.,.,. taste of more from it.. Wolfblast I hear is very nice H2b loves the red of it..
Rosmount Is very good a wee bit strong though.

Like Mia, I am not a real chardonnay fan. I don't think you can beat a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc.

I'm a Chardonnay hater. I would honestly drink red instead. My particular fav is Vina Esmeraldina by Torres. It is divine.

Im also another Non chardonnay drinker......love Sauvignon Blanc......Long Mountain and Two Oceans are two South African ones I've really liked recently.

Love Pinot Grigio and Saove too and Torres Vina Sol is my all time favourite white.

Not normally a chardonnay drinker but in the name of research I tried out the Wolf Blass Eaglehawk Chardonnay and boy was it nice! Very light and far too easy to drink... Bought the Semillion Chardonnay to give it a shot tonight.
