Loose tooth at 5.. that normal ?

Hi all , my 5 yr old son has been complaining about his tooth been sore and just looked and there is a bottom tooth near front loose prob fall out tomorrow or next day depending what he eats.. Its not rotten or bad as he has always washed his teeth.. i though he be 7/8 by time that happend.. Is this normal so young ?

My niece was 6 in October and she has lost 3 or 4 of her teeth already. My LO is 5 but there's no sign yet. Her friend who is about 6 months older has lost 2. I always remember losing them around 1st communion age. I suppose they are getting their communion older these days so it may seem that they are younger losing them

My we cousin is 5 and she has lost a couple..

Funny story - I was minding her one night and my dd is only 4 and was brushing both their teeth b4 they went to bed and realised my we cuz's tooth was loose.... panicked big time- rang my aunt - she laughed at me and apparently it was loose a couple of days - so moral of my silly story - yeah it is normal!!! :-8

Yes it is perfectly normal and has nothing to do with not brushing teeth enough. 7-8 would be quite late actually to start loosing the milk teeth.
