Question for wollies who blog...
I'm planning to start my first blog (non-wedding related).
However I'm not sure whether to use blogspot or wordpress. Which is better and why? Or does it matter? Which do you use? Any good? Thanks ladies xx My Ovulation Chart Me 30, DH 33 March 2011 - Diagnosed with PCOS April 2011 - Started TTC August 2011 - False Positive / Chemical Pregnancy September 2011 - Started Acupuncture Dec 2011 / Jan 2012 - First EVER 28 day cycle Jan 2012 - Day 3 bloods : LH 3.0 FSH 5.2 Prolactin 229 Feb 2012 - started Metformin Mar 2012 - Progesterone 22.2 and Testosterone within normal range - SA results normal / scan shows increased numbers of ovarian cysts - on low dose of Eltroxin Re: Question for wollies who blog...
I use Wordpress. I used to blog on Blogspot many moons ago but then when I started my current blog I did it on Wordpress cos other bloggers I knew told me it was better. Not really sure why though! I'm not technically minded at all so I really don't know the difference. I find Wordpress easy enough to use, haven't had any problems yet anyway.
What's your blog going to be about? Tell us everything! [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

Hi Smileykaz,
Thanks. I'm not particularly technically minded either and would be inclined to say they look much the same - but I'd be afraid I was missing something. As for the blog, I'm doing my finals in teacher training this week and as of Thursday, will be qualified múinteoir bunscoile!! Yay me! Want to start a teaching blog and although I know it will take a long time to build it up - I figure no better time to start than when I become qualified!! There's heaps of teaching blogs around but as far as I can see - few (or none) from a gaelscoil....so that's the aim. My vote is for Wordpress. I just find it nice and easy to use. I chose it because a few blogs I'd seen were on it, to be honest I hadn't heard of Blogger at all!
Good luck with yours Luckyladee, looking forward to reading it! To get around the Wol Zapper, spell my name as: Pu$$y Galore!
Oh yeah, and I was formerly shumbles! Another Wollie with a blog: 365 Photography Project: http://pixbyshumbles.wordpress.com/ Re: Question for wollies who blog...
Even though I use blogspot at the moment, I think I would recommend wordpress. Although Blogspot is more customisable I think wordpress is better for monitoring your stats, etc. Both have their flaws but neither are that hard to use, in my opinion.
I just use blogspot because that was the first one I set up. I used wordpress for my weddingy-blog and then went back to my old blogspot account when I started cheating on and eventually left my wedding one! My slightly random blog, full of outfits that I'll never wear and nail polish that I do http://notsowittywitterings.blogspot.com Re: Question for wollies who blog...
I use blogspot but that's because it was the first free one I found when I googled setting up a blog a few years ago! Both seem to be easy to use.
