Clearblue fertility monitor Question - 11 highs...

Girls - I was using the Clearblue monitor for a month and had no peaks at all. I have a 40 day cycle. I always assumed that it's because I ovulate later in the month. So I bought another months supply of sticks and no joy. I read up on the net about how to read your body and the changes to detect ovulation. One article I came accross talked about the type of monthly discharge (TMI :-8

). But based on this when I got the signal we DTD and this morning I tested positive 2-3 wks preg. I'm over the moon. I just wanted to put it out there that if anyone is like me don't get disheartened and don't just rely on technology! I was waiting on these high readings from the mointor and got nothing. Interestingly the day I was ovulating I also did a monitor test and it was negative?! I just hope now that everything goes well and I can carry this baby as I have a long term illness. am having aproblem with my monitor just wondering if anyone knows how to fix
I was testing in the mornings with a window from 6 am to 9am .
All fine for month 1.
I had to change batteries on day 5 of month 2. They were not dead, just flashing so followed instrctions and changed them. They were not out of the machine very long- approx 1 minute
It retained my data as when I switched it back on it was still on day 5, and then on morning of day 6 it was still showing day 5 ......only switched at about 7 am so now there is a delay every morning. The day is not moving on until 7 am ....how do I fix this???? I have to leave for work very early, then get on a bus so peeing in a pot and testing later doesnt really work for me.Im anxious to get pregnant but draw the line at urine testing while on the CIE bus
I may have to persevere for this month as I dont want to lose data for this month but how will I fix this???

sorry ms bo not really much help but i reckon you will need to wait till next month to reset the time - the time window can be changed every month but not during the cycle as far as I know.

Hi girls, Just wondering if anyone can help me. Went to switch on my monitor this morning to test. I should be on cd14 (was expecting my peak) but monitor only showed cd13 and then switched itself off. Every time I go to switch it on the red light comes on but screen is blank. O:|

I rang the helpline this morning and they said it was the batteries (even though there was new ones in) They told me to replace the batteries within 12 hours and I wouldn't lose my testing window. Bought new batteries after work and inserted them but still can't see anything on the monitor. Helpline closed til tom morning, anyone have any ideas or did I just buy a dud!! So cross now as I was relying on it this month to ensure my cycle had returned to normal after a mc. :o(

sorry to hear you are having problems with it- I am only using it 6 weeks so cant offer any advice but i hope you can get it sorted

Thanks Mrsbo.. I've calmed down since, being overtired didn't help. I've contacted supplier and they said to return it and they'll replace it so all is good.
Only annoying thing is that I'm going in blind this month so unsure when I'm ovulating etc. Not going to get too worked up about it - What will be will be. :o0

Hi all,

I cant believe i am writting this, but have been ttc for a few months now no joy.
Bought the clearblue monitor in march and used it one time, my period was late in april, have done 2 tests now and both are postive.
The clearblue monitor does actually works.
please god all will go ok. :stork:

Hi,

Yes I got a peak in the first month for 2 days followed by a high, so soemthing must of worked.
