Has anyone bought wedding dresses online? ANd which websites are safe??

I bought my dress on DHgate, it's like the Chinese eBay so it totally depends on the seller. If you want I'll PM you the details & pics of my dress

I got mine on eBay and a relative got hers on lightinthebox.com - both fab quality.

I bought one on DHGate and can't wear it, I seem to be in the minority though, typical of my luck, got badly stung by customs too!

I was thinking of same but too much risk. I am now getting my dress made with a local dressmaker. Only a few hundred euros too. Ask your friends or find the dressmaker associated with shops.Bring her the picture. And get her to make a mock up first so u know its right. That way youll get your dream dress. x

I bought everything online!

Shoes & pageboy suit from Littlewoods (delivery 4 days)
Headpiece from Hong Kong on eBay (delivery 12 days)
Ring Pillow & Bracelet from China on lightinthebox.com (delivery 3 weeks)
My dress from China on eBay, made to measure (not sure on exact delivery time but think it was about 12 weeks)

Just bought my wedding dress and BM dress this week online. bit nervous so like you I posted a thread to see if anyone had postive experiences. I bought from a website called www.wedding-dresses.ie . I will let you know how I get on if u want. I have not had many replies from other people yet. Should have BM dresses in the next 2 weeks. I hope you get sorted soon
