Was wondering have anyone ever used this band and if you have any thoughts on them?

Hi Mrs Claus,

We have booked Black Tye for our wedding this year.
We saw them play and thought they were really good. They have a great range of songs that they play too which is great. The only thing we found was that they were kind of slow getting back to us at the beginning but think that was just because they were really busy at the time.

We have booked them for our wedding. We went to see them at a wedding and the dancefloor was full right from the beginning. The male and female singers were really good. We watched for a while then went out to the bar and came back in a bit later and the dancefloor was still full so we booked them the next day. If you do a search on here I posted about them and a couple of wollies that had them replied and said they were excellent. I think they have a showcase coming up soon, I read something about it the other day, in swords maybe.

Going to see them in Swords on 18th, their playing next weekend but have something on on Sat.

Post how you get on this weekend dying to know what their like live! Me and OH have v diff music tastes there one of the few we agree on! :yelrotflmaosmilie:

They played at our wedding, they were brill!

She certainly wasn't screechy! played a great mix of music, young and not so young partied away!

I know the band is an important part of the day, but I also loved the fact that they also proved great value for money, they played for at the church and drinks reception.

Loads of folk mentioned how great they were after, so rest assured if you have booked them!

Hi there

I was free on Saturday night so myself and my wife dropped along to hear Blacktye in the Slaughtered Lamb in Swords. The set was a mix of classic pop and recent chart songs from artists like, Journey, The Killers, The Kings Of Leon, Maroon 5 and some good old fashioned rock n roll. All in all they are a top class band with excellent musicians and their female lead vocalist is one of the very best singers and performers I have seen .They would be an excellent choice for a wedding band but as everyones tastes are different it is always advisable to go and hear them yourselves but on the basis of what I heard and saw they are a great band .

We're going to see them tonight . . . Sat showcase was rescheduled to tonight! kind of last min will let you ladies know how we get on : ) their also playing Trim Castle on Sun if anyone's interested!
