Crover House OR Hotel Kilmore in Cavan??

HI ... Im am having a hard time deciding between Crover house and the Hotel Kilmore..

They're both lovely hotels, we've been to a few weddings in both. I think the Kilmore is better if you're having a large wedding, the layout of the room means everyone has a good view of the top table, in Crover sometimes it feels like they've shoehorned tables in. The food and service was excellent in both, you might have to toss a coin!

We are getting married in Crover this year and have found them to be fantastic to deal with! Couldn't reccomend it enough. Have never been to Kilmore so not much help to you there im afraid O-O

we're getting married in kilmore in july

Love love love it!! the outside totally doesn't do it justice but the inside is so fab

have you seen it done up for a wedding - room looks fab! and thing I love about it is the layout - that the bar/lobby and drinks area are all connected so you can't lose anyone along the way.. the reception room has two bars and the guests don't have to live in between dinner and dancing (as a lot of my boozy uncles mightn't come back!!).... The staff are lovely too

That said, I think Crover is a lovely hotel too... Personally I love the layout of the kilmore, but Crover has fab surroundings and would be amazing for photos. the rooms are lovely there too... My guests will be travelling from dub and H2B's from Donegal so the fact that Kilmore is so central and easy to find helped make our decision...

Well we decided on Crover house at last .. Just the stunning location and the helpful manger really sold it and we got a really good package..... Really happy now..

I am just wondering does anyone know if the function room in Crover have a bar, or is it just the main bar that you have to use?

There is a bar in the function room, at the end of the room

Oh you have no idea how happy that has made me, Im getting married there in June this year and I started panicing thinking ppl will be out in the main bar and it room would just look empty! I'm actually travelling up from Waterford to get married there so I couldn't just call in and check it out!! :thnk
